I’ve not done much “Oppo stuff” recently. Drove the truck and Fiesta for the first time in a week yesterday. What did everyone do over the weekend? I was at a wedding.
Have a dog who won’t let me do claims.
She keeps ripping off the faces of toys I buy her.

Cuteness Level: Lethal
Or at least lethal to productivity.
I finally got the front suspension back together on one side of the Camaro. Getting the spring in and positioned correctly was a pain in the ass and now I get to do it on the other side. I’m really looking forward to that. Who needs a gym?

She will often either make a pile of toys behind me or plop them into my lap as I work. She just won’t let me work!
Hard to deny a claim when in the background there is “squeak, squeak, squeak” from toys.
When do you think the Camaro will come together?

Spent the weeek
en
d tracking down a part throttle clicking noise on the nice miata. Seemed to only happen at extremely light load, could not be reproduced free revving and went away after about 25% throttle
. Almost sounded like an exhaust leak.
Turned out to be a very loud e
vap solenoid, disconnected it and the noise went away, swapped sensors with the red miata and the noise followed the solenoid. I’ll probably keep the good setup on blue and simply yank out the evap system from
red.
Aside from that, spent some time winterizing the bikes because it appears Oregon decided we don’t get a summer this year. :/

I’d originally thought it was Targa from what you post, but that little detail at the end leads me to believe otherwise.

Yeah, I have to swap the Azeni’s off the ST. Then start thinking about the sad business of packing the truck away until spring (or christmas)

When I was working from home my cat loved to walk across my keyboard. Not nearly as cute, but just as hard to work through.
If my body holds up the front suspension will be done by next weekend then it’s off for an alignment. Other than that it’s road worthy, if not very pretty. The main issue with it was the wandering and hopefully after rebuilding the entire steering system and suspension that will be over.

I passed a C anadian in my datsun in a very loud and perhaps rude man ner (BC plates on a pontiac transport???) . They were going 15 on a county road. I can’t wait for the tourists to leave. I also vacuumed out the Datsun and microfiber buffed out the dash, instrument cluster, door cards and foot wells. I freaking love driving the datsun.

But people from A lberta driving lifted F350's towing ski boats drinking Molson are just awesome.
Why are they all fat? Why can’t we have attractive tourists?

Right, tires need to change out too. I’m actually hoping for a bit of snow this year so I can play RWD hooligan games with my Pirelli W inter C inturato equipped miata.

I did almost nothing this weekend, besides the LeMons block party on Friday, where I met Torch.

Super nice, we actually ran into sitting on a window sill, and Daender and I chatted with him for a couple of minutes.

Went to the beach and managed to legit burn my feet on the sand. I guess it was hot out but I didnt know that was actually possible. Broke my Miata again, this time a coolant leak. Somehow it had no issues the whole weekend (drove like 3 hours, a few hundred miles) and just sprung a leak when I arrived at home at the end of the following day.

I had to work this weekend so I didn’t do much. I visited my grandparents on Saturday and went to the grocery Sunday.
We did go to a dog luau tonight, and Ruby won one of the three prizes for best dressed. It was a bag with several treats, a couple of toys, and a gift card to a pet store. We also had her caricature done.
Yep, we’re that kind of pet owners.

I get a lot of AZ and UT plate cars driving slow with cameras out the windows here. I hate them.

I had a lazy weekend around the house with the doggos, and then I played golf this afternoon. I have a standing Monday afternoon game with a retired friend. I’m a terrible golfer, but I’m really just there to drink beer and whack things with sticks. I don’t keep score, but my game has gotten noticeably better playing a two-club game the last month or so. I use only the two clubs I hit best most often: sand wedge and my pitching wedge (with a putter on the greens). The idea is that maybe I can learn to actually those two clubs well, and maybe someday I’ll try to slowly expand that all the other clubs in the bag.
We also had a significant golf cart collision. My golf partner and I have played together (usually in the same cart) for five or six years. We have some set places around the course were we always spin a cart around, and number of other places that we’ll occasionally spin one around. Today we had some other folks playing with us (which mean’s were in different carts, which results in lost of synchronized spinning). He threw a spin on a cart path in a place neither of us had ever done so before (and not an ideal spot in terms of grad e; I don’t know why he did it there) without realizing that I was only a few feet off his bumper at full tilt . I thought there was a possibility he might throw out the anchor , but that would result in nothing that a small bump. I didn’t think he was going to throw a spin. I was left with nowhere to go and no distance to stop in, so I nailed his cart at a 90 degree angle. It wasn’t a cracking the frame kind of hit (as me how I know...), but it was a solid shot. It momentarily knocked the rear tire on that side off the bead on his c art and partially flattened it. We made it back fine, but decided on the need to throw a hand signal when a lead cart decided to throw a spin in an unexpected location like that.
